Kayo began her performance career at the age of 3. Her dance instructors noticed her unique abilities early in her training.  She was unanimously selected as one of the youngest students to dance competitively, and she consistently earned the highest awards in her categories until she graduated from high school. She earned the unique opportunity to perform at the Apollo Theater in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and earned opportunities in opening performances at National competitions. 

 

   After graduating from high school, Kayo attended Marshall University, a NCAA Division 1 institution, where she majored in Sports Management and Marketing. She was selected to be a member of Marshall's dance team holding the leadership role as captain.  As she completed her senior year in college, she auditioned and earned a place on the NFL Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders. Again, she was selected by her peers to serve as a captain and leader of the team.  

 

  Kayo's Marketing endeavors has served her well as she worked for the late Congressman Elijah Cummings on Capitol Hill, Senator Chris Van Hollen's campaign and for the late Michael E. Busch as Speaker of the Maryland General Assembly.

 

  Kayo continues to use her marketing skills to help corporations such as the Baltimore Ravens,  Verdi Sparkletini Wine, MVMT Jewelry Collection and  countless small business owners. Today, Kayo teaches her community how to confidently show up on any digital platform, edit their own content, how to pose in photos, or strategize to produce quality content at a fast pace. The success she has had helping others bring their vision to life successfully is when she cultivated a place for aspiring content creators, VSN House.
